For Clayton students this involves a key role in developing an Autonomous Valet Parking Demo involving our Renault Twizy and Nissan ENV200 Van.

Urban Autonomy (UA)
Members will work within their team on their respective project in fields such as autonomous perception, navigation and vehicle control.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Engaging in weekly team meetings, sharing progress made
- Able to dedicate an average of 10–15 hours per week to the team during each semester on campus
- Using software to control the vehicles’ CAN Bus system
- Developing, tuning and testing Shell scripts & C++/Python programs
- Adhering to relevant software development and workflow standards

Requirements:
- Willingness to learn frameworks & libraries related to Robotics & Autonomous Driving (ROS 2, Autoware, Carla etc.)
- Ability to utilise & learn from documentation (we constantly learn & implement open source software)
