MCAV’s MKII Asterius Self Driving Automobile - at the Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition in Detroit, Michigan, USA (2025)


We are Monash Connected Autonomous Vehicle (MCAV), a diverse multidisciplinary student team at Monash University in Clayton.

Our mission is to study and examine the uses of connected autonomous vehicle technology in our society and explore the practical application of autonomous driving.

This recruitment round is aimed at students in Caulfield or Clayton with an interest in the operational side of MCAV, including finance, legal, marketing, digital media, people and culture, and more. Experience is helpful, but not compulsory!

If you are a first-year engineering, computer science, or IT student, this role is a great opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of how MCAV operates before transitioning into a technical role within one of our technical sections. However, you still have many opportunities to contribute to technical projects within the Operations Team.

Please note, as with all student teams, all positions are on a voluntary basis.
