Role Overview:

Key role in the design and development of a custom-built autonomous ground vehicle, including involvement in conceptual design and prototyping of autonomous vehicles. You will help bring ideas to life from early sketches to full-scale prototypes, collaborating closely with software and electrical teams.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Sketching and rendering concept designs
• CAD modeling and detailed design work
• Prototype development and basic fabrication
• Integration with software and electrical components
• Engaging in weekly team meetings
• Working and communicating within a multidisciplinary team
• Attending relevant upskilling workshops and completing mandatory training and induction
• Adhering to development and workflow standards
• Committing 8–10 hours per week to the team

Who we are looking for:

Requirements:

• Willing to stay on the team for at least 12 months
• Able to contribute a minimum of 8 hours per week to MCAV activity
• Experience with at least two of the following: CAD, design, 3D printing
• Interest in industrial or automotive design
• Strong communication skills or willingness to develop them
